princess ballerina

Super. Proud. Mama.

Dally's first ballet & tap recital was earlier this week.  I had anxiety leading up to the recital {and I wasn't even the one dancing!}.  I was certain Dally would get a case of stage fright, erupt into tears and refuse to perform.  But to my surprise, she owned it.

All of the little ballerinas did such a great job. They showed all of the proud parents, grandparents and friends in the audience everything they'd learned in class during the year.  They finished with separate ballet and tap performances to this song.

After Dallas accepted her trophy and flowers, we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant to celebrate her accomplishment. I wonder how long she'll be interested in ballet?
